User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0
Build ID: 20120928030544
Steps to reproduce:
Navigate to jsecs.org
Actual results:
The slides in the front slideshow jumps up and down when animating between slides.
Expected results:
It should animate smoothly, like on Google Chrome and in past revisions of Firefox
I have been unable to reproduce the animation tearing. Have you tried testing with the latest nightly build from nightly.mozilla.org?

I'm using Nightly 28/9. It has existed for at least a few weeks.
Tested on a New Profile and also a new installation. Safe mode too. Still exhibits jerky behavior. Turning off Hardware Accel does not fix the problem.
(Screen Cap fails to get a high enough framerate to see it, any software suggestions?)

Example (I slowed the transition from 0.8s to 5.8s).
Sorry for the bad video quality, but it shows the tearing nevertheless.

"Direct2D Enabled: Blocked for your graphics driver version."
Firefox used to hardware accelerate on my computer.
I don't remember when it started, but I remember not so long ago the text didn't fringe at the edges, esp. fonts like Myriad Pro.
