Sometimes pages appear to be missing CSS or not firing some javascript event that alters state, ending up with a page that doesn't look quite right. In Bugzilla I see things such as "alias" and "summary" <input>'s being visible rather than their normal, non-editable state. I also see the state/resolution wrong - for example a bug claims to be "reopened fixed" when it should be "reopened new". That part in particular makes me wonder if it's a cache problem, as in this particular case it's a bug that I've opened before. I've noticed this off and on for quite a few months, but it seems to have gotten worse recently. I'm repro'ing on Bugzilla about 20% of the time. Filing here in Layout because I'm not really sure where else to. I'm attaching a screenshot of an example as well as as the saved page source. When I tried to save the page source I got two errors: /home/bhearsum/tmp/770513 – tegra-218 problem tracking_files/yahoo-dom-event.js could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. /home/bhearsum/tmp/770513 – tegra-218 problem tracking_files/webtrends.js could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.
I'm usually most consistent at reproducing this at wiki.mozilla.org. It happens to me more often on this site than bmo.
Now that you mention it, I see it there too. The most common symptom for me is complete lack of CSS.
Severity: normal → S3
