New Firstrun Mockup
The Add-on Compatibility Reporter will be released soon and it is re-designed and re-written for the Add-ons SDK. This is bug 727777.
The first-run page here:

The spec for the new add-on has a section on updating this page:

It simply says: "I bet nobody reads the current first run page. Let’s make it simpler:"

It would also be nice if this page was localisable.

Thanks for filing this. Due to resource constraints we are closing bugs which we won't realistically be able to fix. If you have a patch that applies to this bug please reopen.
