Environment :

Otoro phone, build 2012-10-01 us
Taken from default.xml in b2g-distro:

    "platform_build" revision= 7952619
    "gaia" revision= 5feb07b
    "releases-mozilla-central" revision= 80b40bb
    "gonk-misc" revision= 202d2c6

Ported from github: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/issues/5591.   This bug tracks Gaia work for camera video patch. 


Repro :

Go to camera and select video camera.  Hit the video camera button (center button) again.

Expected: 
Video should start recording.

Actual:
Button turns red, but time doesn't start.  There is no indication that video was recorded.  Video isn't stored anywhere so apparently it didn't record anything.

This is a gaia bug.  The time display doesn't update.

The video is saved to /sdcard/VID_0001.3gp.

Initial recording UI is implemented in: https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/pull/5720

Thumbnails will not be shown once the video is recorded, awaiting:  https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=799306

The gaia side for this has been fixed and the video app records fine, seperate bugs filed for playback and listing issues
