[GitHub comment by jcarpenter on 2012-07-11T06:37:42Z] I don't think this is a UI thing, actually. We'd support some sort of option in Settings, I suppose, but beyond that it seems like the onus would be on Products to make the call and devs to implement. Am removing needsUXreview label (trying to clear out old items).
We cannot understand the bug. Josh, please could you clarify?
Summary: Dialer should have an option to not be the "real" tones → Dialer should have an option to disable dial tones on keypad
I'm doing a bit of cleanup in this component. According to the original report (bug 748394) this called for a way to disable audible tones in the keypad. We've had that functionality since gaia/master d7b72273dc6178a9877061d1737c70967f5b9e3e so I'm closing this as WORKSFORME. I couldn't find the bug to which that changeset was associated because it wasn't listened in the log.
