Sometime between what's on origin/master as of right now and 770e1344cb6e4fe0dd806523a3a3fccccf194d32.

I haven't tried to narrow down the regression range, but it's a Makefile issue
The entire build system has recently been refactored to use node.js. This should no longer be an issue. If you are still having problems please re-open with more specific details.
