Details

On irc.mozilla.org, if "show messages from the server" is activated in account settings the message of the day will repeatedly open during a mail session (and the messages will be counted up in the number panel on top of the chat button); also there is an acoustic notification.

I have a fairly bad connection, so my theory that the message is being caused by re-connects; as far as I can see the message is always the same, if I do not check Tb for 2 hours I can have four or five identical ones in the "gravel.mozilla.org" conversation. Also the conversation will re-open even after I have closed it.

Note: I also have "Sign on at startup" enabled for my mozilla chats.
We should probably treat this the same way that we treat topics of channels and only reshow the MotD if it changes. This should be a fairly simple fix.
