Probably come at this through schedule tasks because we have better control of triggers and conditions in which the task will run, and portions of this is already in a schedule task. 2 quick notes from the aforementioned link: Apply computer GPO fully GPO are automatically being installed by the OS on start up during the "Applying Settings" portion. Check for Windows Updates We don't want to blindly apply Windows Updates because they can make drastic changes and possible come back to haunt us. Currently we have Updates turned off across all the Windows OSes.
