The subfolders in gmail that are created will appear empty on the device, even though there are real mail in those folders on the server. Environment: - 10/5 daily otoro build - gaia: ca1f327d5acc198bb4be62fa51db2c039032c9ce - gecko: ddc8eeb3f9b9ee04d9f74b4f60522eb4530a4a6f Repro: 1) launch email and add an account (gmail) 2) open the side pane, and click on one of your folders youve created that is not Inbox 3) Verify there is no mail in there and the message "No Mail in this folder" Expected: - if you have subfolders with real mail, you should be able to launch and see these in b2g email Actual: - subfolders have no mail found.

The email does appear eventually. The UI could be better about letting the user know what is really happening.

A UI fix for this landed yesterday. We no longer mislead people into thinking folders are empty. The synchronization must complete before we declare a folder empty of messages. Please do verify.

Verified with Unagi, build ID 20121231070201. User is able to see all the real messages in the sub folders on the device.
