I don't have steps to reproduce every time, but the problem happens fairly often. When I tap and hold on a link (usually, in order to open in a background tab), sometimes multiple (sometimes 2, sometimes 8) copies of the link context menu open on top of each other. Similarly, sometimes I get the context menu, click "Open in Background Tab", and then one or more context menus for the link open up again. This often seems to happen when the original context menu is delayed, but I'm not sure that's a requirement.
This is my biggest paper cut in Fennec currently. Too many open menus used to even lock up my browser so I'd have to restart it. Recently I learned that I can click "Open in Background Tab" on all the extra menus and it won't actually do anything, but it's still pretty annoying.
It's hard to say exactly what the bug is because there are probably many things that could be done that would achieve "it's not annoying now". But not opening up multiple copies of the context menu at the same time seems like it would go a long way. That wouldn't quite solve the problem of a context menu opening after I used the context menu, though.
Fennec Native does this too. bug 724860
