Hello their was wondering if we can get en-us changed to just en the reason for that for people in the uk like my self it seems what mozilla does not cater for us in the uk

can we get it merged into en as means english as i understand and just add locale pages for people who are intrested like spannish on the community pages and other once
OS: Windows 7 → All
Hardware: x86_64 → All
Summary: en-us to en → Move all en-us pages to en (english)
if we change en-US to just en, that means that we can only propose the en-US Firefox build for download and not the en-GB one. We also have an en-ZA build in the works btw. There are cases when we want to distinguigh en-GB content to en-US (EU-ballot, download pages, events, pages that have legal implications such as contests and newsletter subsciption rules). Also, the locale codes we use are used directly by Firefox and Thunderbird which fetch content on mozilla.org based on these locale codes.

I don't mind having an alias created that would mean /en/ would serve the same content as /en-US/ though. Marking that as a Request for Enhancement and adjusting the title of the bug.
