User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; SunOS i86pc; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1
Build ID: 20120907074324
Steps to reproduce:
In Thunderbird, write mail and choose 'attach file' and navigate in the upper directory bar on a NFS-attached directory
hierarchy. In Firefox, try 'save as ...' to get to the filepicker navigator. Click several times on different levels in the
hierarchy.
Actual results:
Clicking a few times through the directory hierarchy on the upper filepicker directory bar, error message appears
'Could not read contents of xxx ; Operation was cancelled'. Firefox or thunderbird locks up totally, sometimes
even crashes the whole desktop (Gnome 2.30.2 on Openindiana (aka Opensolaris) 151a4-7 in this case).
Left sidebar navigation in filepicker works. All works fine on local directories.
Happens with Firefox from 3.6.12 up to 15.0.1, FF 3.5.5 works ok (didn't check in between). Thunderbird 3.1.4 up
to 15.0.1 has the same poblem.
Thunderbird 3.1.4 stack attached.
Expected results:
Do not lock/crash when navigating in upper filepicker directory bar.
