Steps to reproduce:

Updated Thunderbird to 18.a2 from previous EarlyBird.


Actual results:

After updating Thunderbird.It checked and installed for a new version of lightning.Then lightning appeared to be completely grayed out.None of the button releated to lightning was working.I could only see my calender list.But noon of the events task was visible.


Expected results:

It should have work as usual.

Lightning 1.9a2 will not work because it is based on Gecko 17 and therefore only works in Thunderbird 17.0a2. You need a new Lightning 2.0a2 build for Thunderbird 18.0a2 that is based on Gecko 18 but we don't have those builds yet.

I have tried 2.0a2 build too.(From caldner project versions page,dont remember link)
 it didn't worked either.Actually i have lost some of my calender when i installed 2.0a2 build.

As said, those builds are not produced yet. Maybe you downloaded an old, incompatible build from the servers but you need a new, current one with BuildID 20121009 or newer.
