Reporter: Are you still see this crash ? Have you tried a new profile ? (run "mozilla -profilemanager" ). Can you try it again with a new build ?
I am unable to test the problem again at present as I no longer use Windows 2000. I am planning to install a test system in the next few weeks to try out some things, this included. I will update with any information I discover.

Resolution: --- → WORKSFORME
Sorry - wrong bug - that comment should be for 81225 Mozilla seems to be working fine now on Windows 98 Build 2001052504
Resolution: WORKSFORME → FIXED
i just filed Bugzilla Bug 82945 mozilla@grant.8m.com changed: Resolution|WORKSFORME |FIXED because that user managed to do something which shouldn't be possible. If anyone knows anything the #mozwebtools reward for information leading to the identification, capture and resolution of that bug is one smilyface.
