In a meeting about revision dashboards, Luke mentioned that the library we use to compare revisions does not always report an accurate number for the number of words changed. Because of this, we might want to report the number of characters changed instead. Keeping both user needs and implementation challenges in mind, which should we go with?
These research bugs were useful when we were using Scrumbu.gs and treating bugs as tasks, but now we should probably just discuss things like this in the corresponding feature bugs (bug 785993 in this case).
