Not the most thrilling patch ever.

I think the only risk here is (a) having licensed something that was otherwise licensed or (b) including the wrong kind of comments, or unexpected whitespace, in an output file.

This is r+ able, but I want you to delay landing it until after the initial releng Ubuntu manifests land, so we don't have the annoying bitrot for that (since tha addative should be easy to script anyway, and we can be sure to catch those new files at the point this does land)
