Scroll the page in a nightly build. As soon as the transforms get in view, the scrolling speed becomes abysmal.

Seems fine here, but there is a lot of GFX activity. Maybe a mac problem?
jdm why are you not attaching profiler traces?

Because I'm on a Linux machine and the traces are not particularly useful.
