Details

From Bugzilla Helper: (user-agent removed, because I submitted from NS 4.7) BuildID: 2001050914 If I try to enter a character that needs the use of Alt Gr to enter into URL bar as non-first character, the character that would appear without pressing Alt Gr at the same time appears instead. It works as a first character, however. I noticed the problem initially with tilde (~), but it seems to apply to all other characters that need use of Alt GR. After you have submitted the URL with enter, however, you can again use Alt Gr:ed characters. This is a major pain in the ass if keyboard mappings needs the use of Alt Gr to use tilde; many personal homepages include tilde before 'username'. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter URL bar 2.Type something, for example http://www.lut.fi/ 3.Try to enter tilde character Actual Results: Character " appears. Expected Results: Character ~ should appear. I'm using Finnish keyboard settings in Redhat 7.0 that has most packages updated to RH7.1 equivalents.
