This appears to be across several Flash versions but only in protected mode. The crashes are all in EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_EXEC with an oddly large address (e.g. 0xffffffff8b6d3ad6). Sal, could you have somebody look?

This has a bit over 1% of all crashes in Flash 11.6.602.161 beta. Sal, did you find anything out about this?

From Magnus: It would be useful to have the call stack for the PIC process. The current attached dumps are in the sandbox process. Difficult to know what's going on as Jimson said earlier in the notes. From Jimson: Seems to be due to a corrupt AbortUnwindList. May be because we don't remove the last AbortUnwindObject from the list. This would indicate that the player didn't invoke RemoveAbortUnwindObject() for one of the added objects. However, no missing invocations stand out.

Hrm. Because this is a crash instead of a hang, we don't have stacks for p-c. Is it the case that p-c is always going to have crashed before we hit this crash? I think if two processes crash at around the same time its indeterminate which crash report we're going to see.

Comment #4 was meant for another bug. I had too many tabs open. I've amended the correct bug. Sorry!

We added a blind fix for this in Flash Player 11.8.800.45. I'm not seeing any traffic on this signature for 11.8 builds and presume that our fix was successful.

(In reply to Jeromie Clark from comment #7) > We added a blind fix for this in Flash Player 11.8.800.45. I'm not seeing > any traffic on this signature for 11.8 builds and presume that our fix was > successful. It's a low volume crash (#104 Flash crash in current Firefox channels) so it's below the floor for Beta and we are unable to detect its fix until the release of Flash 11.8.

There are no crashes in Flash 11.8.
