User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121010144125 Steps to reproduce: Firefox does remember newly downloaded files regardless "Remember my browsing and download history" option. Actual results: I have unchecked "Remember my browsing and download history" checkbox. I downloaded sample pdf file from my site. [download list was empty before that] When file downloaded it was still in download window. Expected results: Firefox should not remember download history when "Remember my browsing and download history" is uncecked.
Bug reproducible on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:19.0) Gecko/19.0 Firefox/19.0, Build ID: 20121022030551. This bug is related with the following bugs: bug 708595, bug 564934, bug 697678.
