Details

Platform: PowerBook G3/300/192Mb/30Gb, MacOS X 10.0.2
Build: Fizzilla 20010509

Try the following:

1) Go to www.versiontracker.com.
2) Pick a file, any file...
3) Hold mouse button down on one of the files' sizes in the Size column.
4) Note that the page reloads almost immediately, even though the normal refresh
time for the page has not expired yet.

I believe a similar problem to bug 78630 is causing this problem.

This is not a duplicate of bug 78527. That bug covers what should happen if a
contextual menu is pulled down when a page is going to reload, even if the
timing issue this bug discusses was resolved.

I'm not able to reproduce this using the steps provided with the same
build. Clicking on a link in the size column and holding the mouse button
down isn't causing a page reload.

I am seeing this issue, however, when opening a new window. If I load
the VersionTracker.com website, and then open a new browser window
(or any other window), the page does indeed reload prematurely.
I upgraded my PowerBook to 10.0.3, and I still see this issue. You might want to
try trashing all Moz related files - ~/Library/Preferences/Mozilla* and
~/Documents/Mozilla/ and see if it still works. Perhaps your configuration is
different in some way.

doesn't happen in classic 5/16/01 build. (whew). we've seen other "reload the
page when i do xyz". i wonder why we only see them on X.

-> sdagley, i think he has the similiar bug with the url bar.
