The group is rarely used, but gets about 1-2 spam messages daily which annoys administrators. If it is not possible to filter spam messages (I have seen bug 514657 WONTFIXed), please advice how to restrict group posting to members only and automatically throw away everything else without notice.

Try setting <https://lists.mozilla.org/admin/dev-l10n-uk/?VARHELP=privacy/sender/generic_nonmember_action> to Discard.

I've made a series of changes to the list that should cut down on incoming SPAM. Please let me know if you would like me to revert these changes. They include: * Set the default non-member action for incoming posts, per Comment 1. * Flag SpamAssassin-tagged emails headers to Reject very-likely SPAM. This can be set to Hold/Defer, if Reject is too strong. I believe this should significantly reduce the problem. Please report back if it does/doesn't.
