User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20120909 Firefox/15.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.12.1
Build ID: 20120909051100

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to add several address contacts to a new list. First created a list, but then had to add each contact individually.

Actual results:

Nothing. Had to add one at a time.

Expected results:

It would be nice if one can highlight several contacts and with a right click, select add multiple entries to an address list. I use Seamonkey 2.12.1 and check for updates periodically (usually monthly).
Just to be sure - you want to be able to drag several contacts in list at once, or what?
Precisely. It would make life so much easier.
I think there is an older bug we can DUP this to. I'm pretty sure this issue has cropped up befor.

Whether an older bug could be DUP'ed with, I cannot say. If not, this could be considered request for a change.
I have otherwise been pleased with seamonkey, and have just upgraded to 2.13.1 this evening (21:50 October 15 SAST).
Bug 58485?
This works for me when dragging contacts from the top right list to a mailing list in the same address book into the left part of the address book window.

It fails when dragged from another address book.

Bug 58485 deals with a mailing list window.
As it happens, this was the case. However, I was not trying to drag, but select a right click option.
