User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
Build ID: 20121010144125
Steps to reproduce:
I received an email with a VCard attachment, internally described as Version: 2.1, as a VCF file type.
I opened the attachment, and pushed it towards TBird to open the file.
Actual results:
TBird responds by opening a new contact form, ie, a blank VCard, with no information pulled from the attachment.
Expected results:
It should have filled in the form, using the various elements of the received vcard

what's in the error console?
I'd be surprised if this were not a duplicate https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced;short_desc_type=allwordssubstr;resolution=---;type0-0-0=nowords;value0-0-0=count%20counts;product=MailNews%20Core;product=Thunderbird;short_desc=vcard%20import;list_id=5468734
Whiteboard: [dupeme? → [dupeme?]
I don't get vcards, often, at all; don't know what the error console reported at the time (at the time, I didn't think it an error, rather a bug....sorry)
Looking in on the other bugs, briefly, they reside in the same general dysfunction, but seem to be different reflections, rather than dupes.

This really requires a testcase

I am planning on triage of Vcard bugs in preparation to file a new report based on the current RFC dated Aug, 2011. This bug without a supporting test case is unworkable, so going ahead and closing it.
