i try to change the themes preference.
but when i swith from classical to modern ... it doesn't work!
i have a question for this form: what's mean the fiel URL and Summary?
did you put the field Assigned to CC to send thi email to an other person?
Reporter, could you please be more specific. What happens, exactly, when you try
to change themes? Also, what build are you using?
Also, consider using submitting bugs from bugzilla helper
(http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bugzilla-helper.html), which also describes
what all the fields (URL, summary, etc) are for.
I suspect this is a dupe/relate to bug 78221.

Corrado, after you select the new theme, are you using the "Apply" button on the
themes panel? Just clicking OK on the preferences dialog will not apply the new
theme....

This is quite probably a dupe but marking NEW in the mean time.

Summary: preference menu → Hitting 'OK' after changing themes does not apply theme
The reporter of this bug never did specify what his exact problem was so I don't
know if it's a dupe of bug 78221 or not. However, I think bug 80232 definitely
isn't a dupe of 78221 because applying the classic theme also appears to disable
the OK button.
What's more, in testing the problem from 80232 I realized that applying the
modern theme no longer works and I'm now stuck in the classic theme... There
appears to be something really screwy going on with themes.
I see essentially this problem in the builds that I have been
doing for the last couple of weeks.
As of a pull of the CVS trunk earlier today (June 2, 2001), this problem
still exists for me. My OS is BSD/OS, running on an x86 machine.
I can change the theme in the running browser, via either the
View / Apply Theme / Modern menus, or via the Edit / Preferences / Themes
mechanism. (Yes, I use "Apply Theme" and then "OK".)
However, when I exit the browser, the change goes away, and I'm stuck in
the Classic skin. (Which is a shame, I think that the Modern looks nicer.)
I think that the OS ought to be changed to 'All'. This used to work on
my machine -- so there is definately a regression here.
I didn't notice this bug earlier. I am seeing the same problem and have being
following the other dup bug 82942.
Actually, bug 79821 is a nsbeta+ p1 bug about this problem.
