With Mindtouch including <span class="nowiki"> in code examples was used frequently to stop urls being converted into links. With Kuma <span class="nowiki"> is being included as part of the example.

A solution to this needs to be found.
Where can I see an example of this, trevor?

I had a list, but cannot find it now.

But this example:
 https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Adding_preferences_to_an_extension#Design_the_preference_dialog
had them in, but I have removed them.

I have put the example with nowiki included here:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/User:trevorh/bTest
I have an idea on how to fix this...lemme give it a go.
From my reading of this bug, it sounds like you want us to remove the <span> elements. Adjusting title accordingly. Correct me if I'm wrong.
