Looks like it's been fixed. I can no longer find the line that was causing this, but I do remember seeing it before.
Marking it fixed. Please reopen if the issue resurfaces.

Thanks for the follow up, I will take some time and rerun my scripts.
helper scripts are here, see runconvert.sh and convert.pl to convert all
the lang files.

converted the svn to git for the locales and extracted all the templates:
