This was also reported on moz 0.8.1 but the bug is till here.

I got a big! bookmark file 400kb and when clicking on bookmark manager then moz
is crashing.

On Mozilla 0.8.1 we could not add or manage any bookmarks. Moz 0.9 in this we can
add a bokmark (ctrl+D) but cannot manage bookmarks. If I try to open manager
then it will crash.

This only happens with big bookmarks files, ive created a new profile and then I
can manage bookmarks.

Will this mean that I cannot have big bookmark files on moz!, hope not. 
I would think the problem is a corrupted file, rather than a large file.
Same for me: After managing bookmarks, the bookmark.html had a size of 36 MB!
