Steps to reproduce:

scrolling a site web with a flash; installed addon "SmoothWheel"; set option "Use hardware acceleration"


Actual results:

firefox falls


Expected results:

In Firefox Aurora (18) all Ok.

I suppose you mean Firefox crashes (the process ends and Firefox window is not visible anymore).  Does the crash reporter start?
