Created attachment 673350 [details] Add-on Manager shows SE7 10.0.0 but still says "Outdated" User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121010144125 Steps to reproduce: I installed Java SE7 (newest downloaded from Java.com as of 10/19/2012), but after installation Firefox, as well as Mozilla plugincheck, still says the Java plug-in is outdated, and as such still blocked unless I manually enable it. Actual results: After installation Firefox, as well as Mozilla plugincheck, still says the Java plug-in is outdated. Expected results: It should recognize it as updated and allow the plug-in to function
Created attachment 673351 [details] Plug-in Check couldn't recognize it as updated either The page also behaves the same when viewed in Chrome.

This can be closed now. I've re-downloaded Java through their (java.com) Web installer - last time I used their full installer. Their full installer apparently lagged behind: even though 7u9 is the latest, the full installer was still 1.7.0-b147 (on 10/19/2012), which is 7u6. Now the plugin works fine as 7u9.
