Hi Winston -- it would be great to get the first batch of snippets live today around noon, once we're sure everything is working as planned. I'll send green light. I've included a variety so you can test, optimize, and keep fresh as you see fit since CTR dips after 3 days. Overall Objectives: This is the main way release channel users will hear about the the Messenger for Firerfox -- more details here: https://intranet.mozilla.org/Engagement/Product_Marketing/Firefox/SocialAPI#What_are_the_marketing_objectives_for_the_Beta_timeframe.3F We're also working on a clear RACI to be shared soon. Run Time: I'd love these variations to run about 50% of the time for the next couple of weeks. Locales: Starting with en-US and then adding more as localizations roll in. Beta Users: New! Chat with friends while you browse the web with [Facebook Messenger for Firefox]. Get [Facebook Messenger for Firefox] to see new notifications right from your browser. Never miss an update. New! [Facebook Messenger for Firefox] lets you keep up with friends while you browse the web Get [Facebook Messenger for Firefox] and stay connected without opening a new tab or window. Stay on top of your updates and chat with friends right from the window you're in with [Facebook Messenger for Firefox]. Introducing [Facebook Messenger for Firefox]. Keep up with your friends without missing a beat. Introducing [Facebook Messenger for Firefox], the easiest way to chat and stay on top of your friends' updates. Give it a try. Be the master of your social circle with [Facebook Messenger for Firefox]. Try it today and let all your Facebook friends know. Aurora Users: New! Note that a resized this logo myself and the rounded corners were lost. See official resizing bug here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=803555 Would be "nice to" have rounded corners but let's not have it block getting this live today.
Depends on: 803555

Hi all. I guess these are live now, but I'm seeing some errors and inconsistencies with our style in some of them. For example, Web should always be capitalized and the comma should be removed from the first Aurora snippet. Beyond that, I really don't love the way a bunch of these start with "New!" It comes off as really salesy and isn't in line with our brand or our voice. I also think it's wrong for our Beta and (especially) Aurora users. I hope we don't have to follow that format for GA. In future, I'd love to be on bugs like this if possible. Thanks.

Matej -- I understand your concern and think they're fine for the Beta timeframe. From the selection above, which ones do you prefer? We'd like to send the strongest 3 to l10n. Feel free to add in commas, capitalize "Web," etc and post here.

Sounds good. In terms of messaging and l10n-ability, I'd say these are my three favourites of the Beta bunch: Get [Facebook Messenger for Firefox] and stay connected without opening a new tab or window. Introducing [Facebook Messenger for Firefox], the easiest way to chat and stay on top of your friends' updates. Give it a try.
