The current transitions for lockscreen -> homescreen, lockscreen -> passcode unlock -> homescreen, passcode unlock -> emergency call, etc. are not the same as what is spec'd out in the Transitions document.
Summary: Lockscreen Transitions Not Implemented According to Spec → [transition] Lockscreen Transitions Not Implemented According to Spec
Can you please be more specific about what's different from the spec?
Needs correct transition implemented. See latest transition document for correct behaviour.

Hi Steve, is this the latest transition spec? If it is then these transitions are still not implemented correctly. For example, when unlocking to the landing screen the bottom dock doesn't appear from the bottom. Let me know if I'm looking at an outdated spec :). thx!

Yes this is the most recent transitions doc, thanks for checking. A lot of the transitions are not implemented as spec'd. The most common currently implemented problem is the use of overlays rather one screen being replaced by another on the SAME PLANE ( i.e. the grid dispersing and the screen replacing it OR the screen sliding to one side and being replaced on the same plane).
cheers

Yuren used to be in charge of this before, I'll ask for info in case he can do it or know who can take it.

I can take it but I have lots of blocking issues right now :-/
And Steve, the link you provided seems broken, could you update the link?

Yuren, will you have time to work on this bug for v1.2?

With all the updates to the lock screen I believe this bug is now invalid.
