STR: 1. Open SMS app 2. Press + button to compose a new message 3. Press Contacts button to add someone to the new message RESULT: The screen turns grey for a moment and then the SMS app reappears with the error message "Communications had a problem and closed". I have an AT&T SIM card installed and I have already entered some contacts in the Contacts app.
Blacklisting 'Contacts' and running it not OOP makes the crash going away.
I suspect it has something to do with bug 775997 :)
Actually, after testing applying bug 775997, 'Messages' app successfully run as OOP but the present crash still happens.
FYI, I have a Free Mobile SIM card, and I have some contacts too. This is reproduced on a Nexus S.
2012-11-14. Working properly with T-Mobile/Movistar/Orance SIM Cards! Closing. If you find same behaviour please reopen with a more detailed scenario. Thanks!

Although gray screen is seen for about 1 second, the SMS application works fine. This on Unagi build 20130102070202. (AT&T SIM card)
