When wifi is connected to Mozilla-G network, and I walk out of range, the Settings app shows the status as: connecting to null... My Git commit info currently shows: 2012-10-17 12:16:24 e3efbd0411218762cf9a62278bf58ee513ff331f Also, seeing my comments in https://b2gtestdrivers.allizom.org/comments_table - my build ID currently is: 20121018092134

Actually... this might be resolved by bug 799825. I need to do further testing.

With today's build 2012-11-01 I still get this error. This morning I upgraded to 2012-11-01, did a full reset of my phone and let it connect to Mozilla-G succesfully. I just rebooted my phone and opened the browser. That caused it to try to reconnect to the WiFi network. It is failing though. The wifi icon in the status bar keeps animating and the settings app shows 'Connecting to null'. I am in the Toronto office at my desk and the signal strength of Mozilla-G here is pretty good I would think.

Update: This might actually be a separate bug, let me know if I should file that. I just opened Firefox again and I noticed that the page that I tried to load for comment #4 above is actually loaded. Now the interesting part: The settings app says: Wifi Disabled. There is no Wifi icon in the status bar. But I am connected for sure as I can browse the web. (No SIM card installed so must be WiFi)
The stable build is built off of Aurora not, inbound nor mozilla-central. The push into aurora occurred in 11/3; so we would need to get Stefan on a build after that date. W/ the patch in bug 799825 (I had built myself), I did not experience the issue in Comment 5.
