Description

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.7; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0
Build ID: 20121010144125

Steps to reproduce:

I'm just randomly browsing around. It seems to happen more in more volatile pages (i.e. lots of Javascript).

Actual results:

I suddenly get yellow bits over my page for a fraction of a second, until I move my cursor or type something on the keyboard. It stays until I interact with the page.

Sometimes it's not yellow bits, but my computer's background. I've attached a zip with 7 screenshots explaining the problem.

Note: I'm using Firefox for Mac 16.0.1 on OSX 10.7.5

Expected results:

This stuff shouldnt have been displayed.

Could you try the basic troubleshooting steps, please:

1) In safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

2) With a new profile: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles

Does it fix your issue?
