There was no easy way to call someone while using the SMS app. You have to exit the app open the dialer and then call the person. By clicking on the number you can just create a contact. I feel that this is a bit odd, as it seems like i'd want to have both options available, but primarily i'd like to call the contact.

As it is you either have to create a contact or write the phone number down on a piece of paper  (Currently there is no copy / paste functionality). Then go to the dialer app and enter the phone number. 

Would prefer this be done through an activity.

We're using blocking-basecamp-/P4 to indicate soft blockers we'd accept patches for but don't want to block the release on.  Is that the case here?

UX is changing the labeling all over. Removing P4 and using UX-P4 whiteboard instead.

Alberto, I've seen that there is no activity for 'show' the profile of a contact, Is there any bug related?

Hi Borja,

We proposed that activity, but was rejected because there were no plans for using it. The only app that needed to show the contact profile was the dialer, and is inside communications, so no activity is needed.

Do we need to add the activity now? Can you file a bug in that case? Thanks!

UX is going to push for it to be there. Perhaps even just switching to Contacts is doable. It feels weird and inconsistent to be able to tap the header to create a new contact but not going to an existing one.

Assigning to default until having feedback from UX. Otherwise this is a new feature, due to we have to modify 'Contacts App' as well.
