With the latest unagi build the screen no longer switches itself off after the timeout set in settings for me. Others say it is working for them.
Correction, it just takes longer than the timeout
Looks like though settings claims the timeout is 1 minute it is actually turning off after 5 minutes.
Summary: Screen timeout no longer works → Screen timeout is slow

qawanted, so we can see if anyone can reproduce.
I test with 1 minute and 2 minute there only about 10 sec delay, so I think this bug doesn't exist now 2012-10-30 gaia master: f18958076b2b50edf01754bb4934c998259ce6a2 gecko: a17fb13630fcac0a9a222c1130e4a5933277e30c

I am still seeing this on my tester phone. After setting the timeout to manual (to keep wifi on for downloading updates), I switched the timeout back to 1 min, and the screen no longer turns off. 2012-11-06 b2g tester phone ac495039efdc1423c283d0cbd05b9d9ad954a... Not sure how this build compares to the gaia master build.

Since updating to the latest build rather than being slow to turn off now it just never turns off. Means everytime I get a call and forget to switch it off manually the battery just drains away

I feel like this is a regression from bug 804890.
Depends on: 804890
verified that 1 minute; 2 minute timeouts work on 11/14/12 nightly.

(In reply to John Hammink from comment #8) > verified that 1 minute; 2 minute timeouts work on 11/14/12 nightly. What fixed this?
Appears to work correctly at the 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute, and 10 minute settings in Unagi build 20130102070202. Verifying as fixed.
