[contacts] Importing contacts from SIM doesn't work immediately

Details

After importing 4 contacts from the SIM the new contacts do not show up in the contacts view. It still says that there are no contacts.

A couple of minutes later I went back to the contacts and they did show up.

It shouldn't happen anymore. Could somebody verify?
