So this suddenly happened to me as I was playing with my device, the card viewer would just stop responding when I invoked it, and I was unable to switch cards or close them. It used to work fine before that. The adb log is here: https://gist.github.com/3955027 When this happened, I only saw IdleService messages in the log.
D/memalloc( 890): /dev/pmem: Allocated buffer base:0x4ba00000 size:245760 offset:15212544 fd:172 D/memalloc( 890): Out of PMEM. Dumping PMEM stats for debugging Looks like running out of memory, dumping the memory and then freeing the memory caused the temporary responsiveness.
I could open new apps with no problem though.
