User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 Build ID: 20121023124120 Steps to reproduce: REF: http://mrdoob.com/lab/javascript/threejs/css3d/periodictable/ Visited the above site. Actual results: The page renders the objects extremely slowly and eventually crashes the browser when clicking the Grid button. Enabling "hardware acceleration" improves it slightly but still very sluggish. Only one tab opened. My system is an i7 2600K, 8GB RAM, ATI HD 6800 series graphics card, Win7(x64). Note: the site has one slight W3C error but correcting it, after downloading it via "Save Page As...", made no difference. Expected results: Tried it on Chrome 22.0.1229.94 and Safari 5.1.7 and the site renders smoothly and fluidly.
This page also renders slowly, and causes Firefox to respond slow using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 BuildID: 20121024073032 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 BuildID: 20121023124120 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:17.0) Gecko/17.0 Firefox/17.0 BuildID: 20121023124120 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:18.0) Gecko/18.0 Firefox/18.0 BuildID: 20121029042012 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/19.0 Firefox/19.0 BuildID: 20121029030553 Did not crash for me when activating the Grid button.
