Currently using 11/01, typing anything into the feedback form is incredibly frustrating as the response time/latency from character press to character input on the form is slow. Typing a sentence often yields skipped characters. Is it possible that on each and every single key-press some unnecessary event is being triggered? I don't see this problem in any other form. -- Unagi (11/01)
See also bug 807677 which has output possibly related here.
Vivien, I know we won't block on this unless there's an obvious issue we can set someone to fix. IMO getting feedback from dogfooders (esp. as we prepare to expand the program) should block, but as long as the app is usable we're alright. Do you have any ideas if there's something unique to this app which could be causing the slowness or if we're discovering a potentially larger bug here that would affect Gaia app development?

Not going to block on this right now, but if there's a specific thing we should fix, please renominate.

I don't see any particular reasons for it to be slower on this particular app but there is an underlying bug that force Gecko to redraw the entire portion of screen that is covered by the app. This should be fixed once bug 808724 lands (likely this week) and I bet it will helps here. If not there is probably something else that we need to debug.

So the feedback form is now web based and no longer a built-in app. Closing as fixed.
