I and at least one other are experiencing this problem on Nightly.

While editing a document, suddenly, a message saying "An error has occurred, and we cannot save your changes. Please refresh the page" appears, as well as a modal dialog telling us that there's been a Google Docs error, and giving us a button to reload the page.

We don't have STR yet - this seems to happen more or less randomly, and it's pretty frustrating when you're trying to get stuff done in docs.

I should note that I wasn't able to hit this problem in FF 16 or 17 beta.

I was able to hit the error with my Web Console open, and here's what I saw:
