User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:16.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/16.0 Build ID: 20121026113527 Steps to reproduce: I had reset my sync password and changed recovery keys, and was updating synced Firefox / Seamonkey browsers. Firefox informed me that I needed to update my sync password, and I typed that into the "Update Password" dialog and pressed enter. Actual results: Firefox repeated the "Update Password" after successful entry of the new password. The Firefox preferences dialog now showed "Wrong Recovery Key". Re-typing in the password in the "Update Password" dialog brought back a result of "Password can't match current password". Had to cancel out of "Update Password" to update the recovery key. Expected results: Firefox should have accepted the new sync password and popped up the dialog for updating the recovery key.
Created attachment 677612 [details] Second update password dialog (should be update recovery key dialog instead)
Summary: Sync "Update Password" dialog pops up erroneously when both password and recovery key need updating → Sync "Update Password" dialog pops up instead of "Update Recovery Key" when both password and recovery key need updating
