Steps to reproduce:
Clicked on a main menu, e.g. History.
Actual results:
The menu faded out with only edges being visible, after showing fully very briefly.
Expected results:
Of course the menu should be fully visible. I have 3 monitors and this only happens on my Right-hand side monitor (number 2 on the screenshot).
The screenshot is identical to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=522521 which is bug 629302
bug 800701 indicates it is related to hardware acceleration, can you untick "Use Hardware acceleration when available" in the "Advanced" section of the settings dialog, "General" tab, to test if the issue goes away?

That fixed it. Strange that it happens only on one of the monitors. I have 2 identical graphics cards, Card 1 has a 19", Card 2 has 24" and a 19" (it's on this 19" that the problem occurs).
