Go to Mail Settings. The selectors near "Always show images", "Download attachments" and "Notify of new email" are all slid to the right, without any indication if it's ON or OFF: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ieh3kyo7wpsg30w/2012-10-26-21-56-27.png Tapping one moves the slide to the left, but again, nothing shows up if it's ON or OFF: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bjdg1kal7cr7qyc/2012-11-02-18-08-37.png Apart from the blue colored margin of the slide button, there's no indication of whether the setting is disabled or enabled.
Odd, but these particular toggles are going away soon (bugs 804911, 804918, 805102), so I think we can mark this one invalid. The other instances of the on/off toggle in the Settings app have the correct appearance -- not sure what went wrong with these ones.
