Details
Moving the volume slider doesn't mean anything to the user when he can't perceive the change in volume. Ideally: As the user slides the volume, he can hear the call ringtone volume increase or decrease. If too difficult: Once the user releases the volume slider, he hears a sample (not entire ringtone) of how loud the sound is.

+1 for a sample beep of how loud the sound is now. I don't want to listen my full ringtone each time I volume up or down :P

Flagging Sri to see if this should be included in the Ringtones backlog, given Tiff's work right now. Also, is there anything in addition to the vibration API that would provide the sound here? Diego do you know?

We are going to fix this in 1.5 and bug 961980 was filed, spec(Bug 991026) is also in progress which Omega is working on.
