As a user, I want to be able to "Clear App Data" with a dialog box confirming my intent after which the "Clear App Data" button would become inactive so that I can clear stored app data.

Étienne, would you have a few pointers regarding this bug (e.g. which API to use)?
(In reply to Fabien Cazenave [:kaze] from comment #1) > Étienne, would you have a few pointers regarding this bug (e.g. which API to > use)? We don't have platform support for this. The app.clearBrowserData function is pretty much only useful for the browser app right now. The only way to clear app data like indexedDB and stuffs is to do it from the app.
We're marking this bug with the C1 milestone since it follows the criteria of "unfinished feature work" (see https://etherpad.mozilla.org/b2g-convergence-schedule). If this work is not finished by Nov19, this bug will need an exception and will be called out at the upcoming Exec Review.

I’m still not sure to understand what this “Clear App Data” feature should do. Is there a spec about that? Or an open bug on the platform side?
Component: Gaia → Gaia::Settings
I'm pretty sure this is out of scope for V1, per previous conversations with Jonas and many others. Instead, option is to uninstall.
That's correct.

This is apparently one of those issues that will forever show up in testruns, but needs to be removed from Moztrap since it pretty much stayed out of scope. Let's remove case #2661 from Moztrap. Bumping to in-moztrap -
