Steps to reproduce:

Launch FirefoxMetro from the "Nightly" tile on the Start screen. Alternatively, click on a HTTP(S) link from within any other Metro app (i.e. Mail, MetroTwit, etc.).


Actual results:

(Using a dual monitor setup with Metro UX on secondary monitory) The FirefoxMetro splash screen appeared, but went black. On primary monitor, a new Firefox window opened showing the regular Firefox start page, whether or not FirefoxMetro is started from tile or via a link in another app.

In Windows event viewer, the following event appeared in log Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational: "Activation of the app DefaultBrowser_NOPUBLISHERID!EEFEA8717BC47F65 for the Windows.Launch contract failed with error: The app didn't start.."

Two events appeared in the Application log:
* "Activation of app DefaultBrowser_NOPUBLISHERID!EEFEA8717BC47F65 failed with error: The app didn't start. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information."
* "App DefaultBrowser_NOPUBLISHERID!EEFEA8717BC47F65 did not launch within its allotted time."

An XML file containing the three events has been attached.


Expected results:

FirefoxMetro should have appeared on secondary monitor. When starting FirefoxMetro by clicking a link, the page associated with that link should open in FirefoxMetro.

As of today's build, Metro mode seems to be working again. Going to leave this open just in case it's a temporary thing.

Into December without this regressing back to the original problem, going to just close it.
