Steps to reproduce:
I subscribed to remote ICS calendar initially and saw strangely named event.
After I downloaded the ICS I checked its contents and found that event is named rightly in the ICS.
Importing from local files does not differ.
Actual results:
Some events missing last character.
Expected results:
last character of the event title should be in place

Works fine for me, I cannot reproduce your problem. I tested import into storage calendar and opening the ics file directly.

it indeed works with Lightning 1.9. Seems to be fixed then.
