===========
Use Converted Version of "Thunderbird Message Filter Import/Export Enhanced 1.0.3".
That Add-On works fine with SeaMonkey, see <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/tb-import-export-wind-li-port/reviews/824396/> and <http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/compatibility/>.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:16.0) Gecko/20121026 Firefox/16.0 SeaMonkey/2.13.2 Build ID: 20121026204328 Steps to reproduce: I´m searching for Import/Export-feature for message filter Actual results: found only an add-on for Thunderbird Expected results: Either usable add-on or similar feature as in Address Book!
Confirmed: there is a Message Filter Import/Export extension for Thunderbird but it will not load into Seamonkey 2.14.1 on a Mac running Mountain Lion ("incompatible" error message). I gather this has been the case for some time. Is support for Seamonkey being gradually withdrawn?
(In reply to Jess H. Brewer from comment #1) > [...] Is support for Seamonkey being gradually withdrawn? Yes and no. The SeaMonkey (voluntary) developers do all they can to keep the Suite up-to-date, supported, etc.; there is certainly no intention of withdrawing SeaMonkey. What happens is that many extension developers use Thunderbird and/or Firefox but not SeaMonkey, and that they "forget" to support the Suite even when it is as simple as adding a <targetApplication> section for it in the extension's install.rdf
Thanks for the clarification, Tony! Sad to see yet another uniquely useful utility marginalized by herd behavior. <sigh> We should all try to proselytize about the integrated mail/browser advantages of Seamonkey a bit more aggressively... then maybe developers wouldn't forget to keep us in the loop.

@Reporter? a) So the request is to make whatever add-on for TB running with SeaMonkey? b) What is the name / dolwnload location for the TB add-on? Thunderbird Message Filter Import/Export 1.3.7.6 <https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/thunderbird-message-filter-imp/>? Thunderbird Message Filter Import/Export Enhanced 1.0.3 ? Something else?

Summary: Message filter Import/Export Feature → Missing: Message filter Import/Export Feature
Rainer: that's the add-on under discussion, all right; but now it seems not even to work in the latest Thunderbird, so any hope of getting it available for Seamonkey seems remote. Perhaps I have too long a Message filter list, but it sure is a PITA to transcribe it by hand every time I set up Seamonkey on a new host! Things seem to be slowly falling apart....
Version 2.35 nothing works!

(In reply to Jess H. Brewer from comment #6) the most promising approach seems to be to rework the add-on, for SeaMonkey this one actually is WONTFIX. There might be some chance for a Thunderbird enhancement request with a new bug report. Whiteboard: [WONTFIX?]
WONTFIX for now because of limited resources, no votes and good workaround with an Add-On, see "User Story" above!
